His professional path began at the University of Maribor. As a researcher, he started to work in a laboratory for Hard Real-Time Systems. He successfully participated in the development of software solutions for companies from that field. After that he started to work at the Hermes SoftLab, because he was interested in many different computer technologies and wanted to work in a dynamic environment.

He was working on the implementation of complex systems, mostly in banking sector and tourism. He was one of the first ones who developed a software for searching the best tourist’s offers.

After that he started to work in telecommunication field in the company Mobitel d.d.. He led the software development group. In that time this company was one of the leading providers of services for mobile devices. He and his team developed one of the first multi-channel portals serving the same content in different internet protocols.

To fulfil his own exploratory spirit as much as possible, he started his own business. He devoted himself to different state-of-the-art technologies and tested them in many different start-up companies.
